The campaign begins ...

For every sailor, the extreme must be to race across an Ocean single handed.  The Mini Transat offers amateur and professional sailors the opportunity to do just that - in high performance 6.5 metre yachts.

To quote Pete Goss "The difficult bit is getting to the start line".  In order to qualify to race in the Mini Transat 2009 event, i will have to sucessfully complete a number of qualifying races over the next two years.  Only with your help, we can can get the boat to the start line, it is the ultimate team challenge.
